The Emergency Consortium had to act in the early hours of the morning to extinguish two fires in the capital of Lanzarote. The first of them took place at about 00.22 hours this Thursday in Elguinaguaira street, where three containers burned, one of cardboard, another of glass and another of plastic. The three were unusable.
Hours later, at about 02.00 hours, the firefighters went to the fire of an abandoned house in Cienfuegos street in Arrecife. Once alerted by the Cecoes, they went to the place and accessed the interior by cutting a padlock.
As reported by the Security and Emergency Consortium, the fire was in a room of about 25 square meters that was full of belongings. The fire affected part of what was accumulated, and water was used for its extinction.
The Local Police also came to the area. After putting the chain back on the door and leaving it with a shackle, the firefighters finished the service.
