Firefighters have extinguished a fire in two vehicles in Playa Blanca, as reported by the Emergency Consortium. The fire took place around 4 a.m. this Sunday on Playa de la Cruz street.
Once alerted by CECOES, Local Police, Civil Guard officers and firefighters were dispatched. When the emergency teams arrived, they found that the two cars were completely on fire. Immediately afterwards, the firefighters proceeded to extinguish the fire with water and then extinguished the two vehicles with foam. Subsequently, they reapplied foam with the propack to ensure that it could not be reactivated.
According to witnesses, the cars caught fire at the same time, leaving a gap in the middle of a vehicle that its owner was able to move away from the fire area, which gives the possible suspicion that it could have been intentional.
