Firefighters put out a waste fire in front of the César Manrique Airport this Tuesday, the Security and Emergency Consortium has reported.
Alerted by the CECOES about the spread of a column of smoke outside the warehouse, the emergency teams went to the Playa Honda industrial area at 12.59 hours.
Once on the scene, they found that it was a fire of remains of artificial grass, metal drums and garbage outside a warehouse and that it had occurred near several vehicles.
At the time, they put out the fire and carried out the relevant check to verify that the fire had not spread inside the warehouse.
