The firefighters extinguished the fire of a palm tree in Las Caletas in Arrecife. Alerted by the CECOES, this Sunday, the emergency teams arrived at the Mármoles road to put out the fire.
Once in the service, they adequately signposted the affected area to avoid possible damage and then proceeded to extinguish the fire safely and efficiently with sprayed water.
In addition, after extinguishing the fire, they took all necessary measures to prevent the spread of the flames to other green areas. At the end, they assessed the damage caused by the fire and informed the CECOES of the state of the area.
The Port Police and the National Police also went to the scene, the Emergency Consortium has reported.
