The Security and Emergency Consortium intervened on the night of this Sunday, April 12, in a declared fire in a possible abandoned dwelling located on Chile Street, in the municipality of Arrecife.
The alert was received through Cecoes, which prompted the immediate mobilization of emergency resources to the scene. Upon their arrival, the personnel carried out an exterior reconnaissance of the property and accessed the roof using a portable ladder.
From that position they located a fire outbreak in an incipient phase, proceeding to its extinction by means of water application, managing to completely smother the flames.
Once the intervention was finished, the personnel carried out an inspection of the affected area to verify the total extinction of the fire and rule out any risk of re-ignition. Subsequently, the data corresponding to the service was collected.
At the scene, a contingent of the Local Police was also present.
