Firefighters have traveled to Fajardo Street to extinguish a fire in an abandoned house in the capital.

Witnesses alerted the Security and Emergency Consortium around 12:21 p.m. this Tuesday, after seeing a large black cloud of smoke coming out of one of the buildings in the area.

According to some neighbors, there were some dogs inside the house that had to be rescued.

In this regard, the Arrecife City Council has confirmed that agents from the Animal Protection Unit took charge of two dogs, which were transferred to the municipal kennel.
