Firefighters had to act to extinguish a fire in a house occupied by squatters on Saturday night in Arrecife.
According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, the event took place around 10:20 p.m. on Perú Street, corner with Blas Cabrera Topham Street. Alerted by the CECOES, the firefighters went to the place, where they found a fire in an abandoned house. The fire affected only garbage accumulated in an outside corridor, and it was extinguished by the firefighters.
Two men used to spend the night in the house, one of them was already outside when the firefighters arrived while the other, who was disoriented, had to be evacuated by the firefighters.

The National Police were also at the scene.
