Fire extinguished in an abandoned house on Blasco Ibáñez Street in Arrecife

The fire took place in the early hours of the morning on Blasco Ibáñez Street and affected furniture, mattresses and garbage that was in the stairwell.

Firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium extinguished a fire in an abandoned house in Arrecife in the early hours of this Friday. 

After being alerted by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands at approximately 04:40 hours, the firefighters went to the building, located on Blasco Ibáñez Street, where Local and National Police also attended.

The fire was located in the stairwell of the house, affecting furniture, mattresses and garbage. The firefighters verified that there was no one in the building and extinguished the fire with water.
