Firefighters extinguished a container fire on Tuesday night in the Argana Alta neighborhood of Arrecife. According to the Emergency Consortium, the fire took place around 9:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the employees of the José Molina Orosa Hospital.
The Consortium was alerted by the CECOES of a container fire. Upon arriving at the scene, they verified that it was a container of organic waste located at the Molina Orosa garbage point.
Two employees of the hospital center had used two powder extinguishers and, upon the arrival of the firefighters, they proceeded to completely extinguish the fire with sprayed and jetted water.
Local Police officers also went to the scene.
