The Local Police of Arrecife intercepted last January a driver of a forklift circulating on public roads without the vehicle being registered, the driver without a driver's license and an alcohol level of 0.44 mg/l when performing his working day, the capital City Council reported this Wednesday.
The events occurred in the Altavista neighborhood. According to sources from the City Council to La Provincia, "forklifts can only circulate in interior enclosures and not on the street."
This is one of the interventions carried out by the Local Police of the capital during the month of January. The balance of preventive controls to reinforce road safety has allowed the identification of up to 45 drivers circulating on the city's roads without mandatory insurance, without counting cars with the ITV, and even irregularities in driving licenses.
