Agents of the Local Police of Arrecife proceeded on July 31 to arrest S.B, 32 years old and a native of Morocco, accused of a crime of drug trafficking and another of identity theft.

According to the police report, the now detained was hiding several packages of cocaine (12 grams in total) and hashish (30 grams) under the passenger seat of the vehicle in which he was when he was surprised by police officers assigned to Group 4.  

The agents were following the trail of a stolen car, a Toyota Yaris, when they saw a vehicle with similar characteristics, which they later located on Folías street in Arrecife.

When requesting the relevant documentation from its occupant, they detected several irregularities in the driver's license, so they proceeded to search him and the car.

In addition to the drugs, which were hidden inside a black sock, the municipal police also located two Samsung mobile phones and 200 euros, in 50, 20 and 10 euro bills.

The detainee, who is accused of a crime of drug trafficking and another of identity theft, was placed at the disposal of the court.
