At the height of the crossing of access to San Bartolomé, on the road that connects Arrecife with Tinajo, two vehicles collided frontally this Thursday at around two in the afternoon. As a result, two women and a man had to be treated by the Red Cross ambulance personnel who traveled to the scene.
One of the women who was traveling as a companion in a car, 59 years old, suffered a chest trauma and was transferred to the General Hospital suffering from pain as a result of the impact. The second, 30 years old, was also evacuated to the same health center as she presented a head trauma. In the other vehicle, its only occupant, a 47-year-old man, was also affected with pain in the back.
The patients, who were assisted at the scene by Red Cross health personnel, were stable and without apparent serious injuries, except for possible subsequent complications. One more occupant of the vehicle where the two women were traveling was unharmed.
During the resolution of the accident, members of the Local Police of San Bartolomé were in charge of controlling traffic and allowing access and intervention of the health services.
