A man was injured after being attacked by another to steal his backpack. The events occurred last Saturday, March 25 around 12 in the morning in a bar on Mexico Street in the capital of Lanzarote.
The aggressor, a male apparently "with a Dominican accent" according to the victim, "gave him a beating", even "breaking a tooth" before finally stealing a backpack.
Once alerted by the CECOES, an ambulance from the Emergency Service arrived at the scene. The medical personnel assisted him and he was later transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa hospital. In addition to the tooth, he had bruises on his head and other parts of the body.
National Police agents also went to the scene of the events and gathered all the information to begin the investigation and find the perpetrator.
