A swimmer has died after being rescued from the sea at La Cantería beach in Órzola, in the northern municipality of Haría, according to CECOES.
The incident took place this Saturday, October 25, around 1:15 p.m. when CECOES was alerted that a person was in distress about 20 meters from the seashore.
Local Police, Civil Guard agents, and healthcare personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service have been dispatched to the scene.
