Firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium extinguished a fire in a house in Playa Quemada this Wednesday and rescued a blind puppy from inside.
The fire occurred at around 11:30 a.m. on Risco Prieto street. After being alerted by 112, the firefighters went to the scene, verifying that it was a fire that affected the kitchen of the house.

The firefighters accessed the property from the rear, where the door was on the ground, and extinguished the fire and rescued the animal. As reported by the Emergency Consortium, there were two gas bottles in the kitchen, one of which was leaking.
After the extinction, the firefighters informed the owner and the Local Police that the roof was not safe, since being made of wood it had suffered "considerable damage" and they marked off the area.
