A patrol of the Civil Guard from the Main Post of Tías, during the development of a night citizen security service, proceeded to identify the occupant of an Opel Astra tourism-type vehicle that was circulating on the LZ-505 road, at the exit of the tourist town of Puerto del Carmen.
It was then that the civil guards discovered that the driver was hiding several packages containing up to 11 doses of Cocaine among his clothing, along with 437 euros in cash that were also seized as proceeds from the sale of this narcotic substance.
At the time of the arrest (late at night), the drug carrier, identified as R. F.R., 41 years old and a native of Cuba, was heading to his home in Playa Honda after finishing his work day at a nightlife venue located in the Atlántico Shopping Center (Puerto del Carmen), a place where it is suspected that he carried out transactions of this substance.
The detainee has been accused of a crime against public health for drug trafficking, being placed at the disposal of the court before the Investigating Court Number Three of Arrecife.
