Members of the Local Police of Tías arrested Ilias B., a native of Tetouan, 23 years of age, last Tuesday night as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of injury in the family environment.
The events, according to a letter sent from the southern police station, occurred in Puerto del Carmen, when local agents were required through an anonymous telephone call reporting alleged mistreatment in the middle of the street.
Immediately, the agents went to the place indicated by the complainant, where they were able to identify the victim, a Moroccan national who stated that her husband had assaulted her and left.
The woman was treated in the first instance at the Tías Health Center and later referred to the Emergency Service of the General Hospital, to assess the injuries suffered.
For his part, the alleged perpetrator of the events was soon after located, arrested and brought to justice after the instruction of the appropriate police proceedings in the case.
