A man has been injured this Thursday by being electrocuted while working on a construction site in Arrecife, as confirmed by the Emergency Consortium.

The event has occurred around 16:10 hours on Arcipreste de Hita street, in the capital's Altavista neighborhood.

According to what the Emergency Consortium has confirmed, the injured person was conscious after the incident, although for the moment the state of seriousness is unknown.

To the place have immediately moved firefighters of the Emergency Consortium, National Police, and an ambulance of the SUC.

This is the third work accident in less than three weeks, after the other two that occurred last March. One of them was in Playa Honda, where a man suffered a fall into a trench while working on a construction site, and the other in Arrecife, where another worker fell through the stairwell of the building under construction and suffered a serious back injury.
