A new fire has broken out in an abandoned house in Arrecife, which has already been engulfed in flames on other occasions. The house, which is located on Pérez Galdós street, is occupied by homeless people and full of garbage, which helps fuel the flames.
When this new fire broke out, there was no one inside the house. The firefighters arrived at the scene shortly before 8:00 p.m. this Tuesday and, although no dangerous situations have been created, the work to completely extinguish the fire has been prolonged due to the accumulation of garbage.
This is not the first time that firefighters have had to go to this property. One of the last episodes occurred less than four months ago, when another fire was recorded in this same abandoned house.
On that occasion, the house was also empty when the firefighters arrived, so there was no personal injury to regret.
