A 23-year-old man has been arrested this week by the Local Police of Arrecife, when he was hiding more than 250 grams of hashish in his pants. The events took place on García Escámez street in the capital, while the agents were carrying out a preventive citizen security control.
According to the police report, the detainee, A.F.P, 23 years old and a native of Arrecife, was traveling in one of the vehicles inspected by the agents during the operation.
After conducting a security check, the detainee took five plates and three bars of hashish from inside his pants. In addition, the agents also seized cash.
According to the City Council, after informing him of the reason for his arrest, the young man was brought to justice.
