Firefighters from the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium rescued a woman this Wednesday who fell inside the Cueva de los Verdes. The accident occurred around 2:00 p.m., when the CECOES was alerted to the incident.
Local Police officers and an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service were transferred to the scene. According to the Consortium, the injured woman was inside the Cave, paramedics had immobilized her left arm and bandaged her head. They transferred the woman to the rescue stretcher and transferred her to the ambulance. She was later transferred to Molina Orosa.
