A young woman has been transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital after falling into a hole in front of the Lanzarote Employment Office, located on José Antonio Street, in Arrecife. The young woman is injured, but her condition is not serious.
The events occurred around 11.30 this Thursday. Apparently, the woman fell from a terrace, near the Lanzarote Employment Office, which is accessed from José Antonio Street by climbing some stairs.
People who were waiting to be attended to at this Employment Office witnessed these events and notified the health resources. According to several witnesses, the woman would have tried to take her own life. From the Lanzarote Employment Office they have assured La Voz that this event "has had nothing to do" with this service, since the woman had come to accompany her mother, who was in the waiting room.
After being treated at the scene of the events, the woman has been transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital. According to what La Voz has learned, her condition is not serious. Her mother has also had to be treated, who suffered an episode of anxiety in the face of these events.
