A 41-year-old woman was slightly injured in a traffic accident this Thursday afternoon. The accident took place on the LZ-2, near El Cable, shortly after 4 p.m. The injured woman has been transferred by ambulance to the Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife.
The 1-1-2 received the alert at 4:10 p.m., reporting that there had been a collision with several vehicles involved and sent an ambulance to the area. Finally, only this woman needed medical assistance. SUC personnel attended to her at the scene and diagnosed her with mild cervicalgia and lower back pain.
Traffic officers from the Civil Guard have also traveled to the scene of the incident to instruct the proceedings and control traffic, which has suffered significant delays.
