A 35-year-old woman was seriously injured this Sunday after suffering an accident on Avenida del Mar in Costa Teguise. The incident occurred at around 8 in the morning, when the driver collided head-on with a palm tree on this road.
In addition to personnel from the Canary Emergency Service, firefighters also went to the scene, who had to remove the woman from inside the vehicle, as she had been trapped. Afterwards, she was evacuated in a medicalized ambulance to Doctor José Molina Orosa with a severe traumatic brain injury.
Agents of the Local Police of Teguise also went to the scene, who were in charge of carrying out the corresponding procedures, while the firefighters cleaned the road once the vehicle was removed by a crane.
