A woman was moderately injured in the collision of two vehicles in Yaiza, according to the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES). In addition, another of the occupants, 65 years of age, suffered an anxiety attack.
The accident occurred at approximately 10:00 p.m. on the LZ-2 in the municipality of Yaiza. Agents of the Civil Guard, a medicalized ambulance and another basic life support ambulance from the SUC, the Emergency Consortium, were transferred to the scene.
The firefighters had to free one of the injured women who had been trapped inside the car. For its part, the sanitary personnel assisted those affected. One of them of unknown age presented a moderate chest trauma and was transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
The other occupant who presented an anxiety crisis was also transferred in a basic life support ambulance to the PAC of Playa Blanca.
The Civil Guard regulated traffic in the area and instructed the corresponding procedures.
