A vehicle has been completely burned this Friday in Costa Teguise, after suffering a fire that started while the car was running. The driver, a foreign woman, and her 11-year-old daughter left the car when they saw smoke coming out of the hood.
Apparently, before the fire they began to hear strange noises, while the car's temperature rose and then smoke began to come out of the hood. After leaving the vehicle, it burst into flames.
Two fire trucks went to the area, which quickly put out the fire, although by then it was already burned. Two cars from the Local Police also went to the scene, who were in charge of closing the street until the situation was controlled.
According to La Voz, the driver was not the owner of the vehicle. Apparently, hers was broken and a friend had lent her the car.
