A three-year-old child has suffered a near drowning in a swimming pool in a hotel in Playa Blanca. The event took place around 7:15 p.m., the time when CECOES received a call alerting of the incident.
Local Police agents and two ambulances from the Canary Emergency Service have traveled to the scene. A coordinating doctor from the SUC, present in the operations room, gave instructions via teleassistance to the caller to provide first care to the minor.
Subsequently, the health personnel has assessed and assisted the affected, who presented symptoms of moderate near drowning, and has transferred him in a medicalized ambulance to Molina Orosa.
