A paraglider of about 40 years of age has been seriously injured after falling on the mountain of Tenesar in Tinajo. The accident took place at about 11.20 am this Thursday. At that time a call was received alerting of the fall of a paraglider who was in a place of difficult access. Agents of the Local Police, two ambulances, one medicalised and another of basic life support of the SUC and firefighters of the Emergency Consortium of the island have moved to the place.

The firefighters of the Consortium have located and rescued the injured man who has been transferred to the place where the ambulance was. The sanitary personnel have assessed and assisted the affected person who presented serious multiple injuries. Once immobilised, he has been evacuated in a medicalised ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.

The Local Police has collaborated with the emergency services.
