A paraglider has suffered an accident and crashed into the beach behind Órzola, according to La Voz. The man was injured, but not seriously, in this incident, which occurred around 1:00 p.m. this Thursday.
Agents of the Civil Guard, the Local Police of Haría and the Northern Rescue and Emergency (REN), as well as an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), have traveled to the scene.
When the emergency devices arrived at the scene, the paraglider was conscious, as reported to La Voz by the Emergency Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 112.
The affected person is 35 years old and of foreign nationality. A basic life support ambulance from the SUC has transferred him to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital, as he had multiple contusions.
However, from 112 they have assured that his condition is not serious.
