A paraglider was injured after suffering a fall in Lanzarote, in La Montañeta, municipality of Yaiza, according to the press service of the Coordinating Center for Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands (Cecoes) 112.
The injured man is 40 years old, suffered trauma to his back of a less serious nature, and was transferred by advanced life support ambulance of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) to the Doctor José Molina Orosa hospital.
At noon this Monday, the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center received an alert reporting that a paraglider had suffered a fall and needed health care at the aforementioned location. 112 activated the necessary emergency resources and the medical personnel of the SUC assisted the affected person. After stabilizing him, he was transferred to the aforementioned hospital.
