The firefighters of the Security and Emergency Consortium found on Saturday afternoon a man of about 50 years old dead on the roof of a house on Pérez Galdós street in Arrecife. It was a neighbor of the adjacent building who alerted the emergency services since "he had seen the person in the same position since morning".
After being alerted by the Cecoes about 18:15, the firefighters went to the address and, in the presence of the National Police, proceeded to access the roof with the extension ladder, verifying that it was indeed a death, "so we went down the stairs of the building to open the door from the inside so that the Police and the paramedics could enter and confirm that the person was deceased"
The National Police was guarding the body until its removal.
