A man died this Monday in a car rental mechanic shop, where he worked. The company operates in the Industrial Estate of the town of Playa Blanca, in the municipality of Yaiza, according to sources close to the investigation.
The Civil Guard confirms that it is a workplace accident, which took place in a car repair shop when the 41-year-old man allegedly fell from an area they used as a warehouse. The victim is currently at the Anatomical Forensic Institute of Arrecife.
The Labor Inspectorate will now, after analyzing the incident, determine if the company complied with the established security measures.
