Firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium extinguished a fire in a house on Guanapay street in Puerto del Carmen this Thursday afternoon.
After being alerted by the Local Police around 6:10 p.m., the firefighters went to the property, where agents from both the Local Police and the Civil Guard were already present, who escorted the firefighters from the roundabout of the nursery to the fire.
Once at the scene, the firefighters verified that it was a fire that affected furniture and clothes that were in a room and proceeded to search the house in case there was any occupant, the search being negative.
After that, the firefighters extinguished the fire and ventilated the house, for which it was necessary to break part of a partition that blocked one of the windows. Once the house was ventilated, they proceeded to check the property and declared the service finished.
