A cyclist was injured after suffering a fall on the road to Las Conchas in La Graciosa, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. when emergency personnel were alerted. Once at the scene, the personnel found the cyclist on the ground with an open wound of about 10 centimeters. The staff cleaned the wound with physiological saline solution with gauze, tamponed it with gauze and bandages, and then placed a splint on the leg.
They later collaborated with the healthcare staff to place him on the ambulance stretcher for transfer to the Graciosa clinic.
