A car ran off the road and overturned this Friday on the road that connects El Peñón with Masdache, according to reports from the Emergency Consortium. The driver and sole occupant was seriously injured.
The accident occurred at approximately 9:36 p.m., at which time CECOES was alerted. Agents of the Civil Guard, firefighters and an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service went to the scene.
The affected, a 50-year-old man, presented serious injuries and after being stabilized by the health services, he was evacuated by ambulance to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
Immediately afterwards, the firefighters disconnected the car's battery and marked the vehicle.
For their part, the Civil Guard agents regulated traffic and carried out the corresponding report.
