A vehicle crashed into a lamppost, knocking it down near La Santa Sport in the municipality of Tinajo, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
The accident occurred at approximately 00:15 hours this Friday, December 22, when CECOES was alerted. Local Police officers and firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was able to exit on their own and was in perfect health.
The firefighters removed the damaged lamppost and placed it in a safe place. In addition, they removed the vehicle from the road to clean it and disconnected the battery.
