Firefighters had to extinguish a fire this Tuesday morning in a car that was running on the Tahíche roundabout near the César Manrique Foundation, as reported by the Security and Emergency Consortium.
After being alerted by the Cecoes at around 10:00 a.m., firefighters and an Emerlan ambulance went to the scene. There they were able to verify that the fire was located in the front, affecting the engine of the vehicle and the interior part.
The vehicle was in a parking area of the road in the direction of Tahíche and did not affect traffic. Its driver was already out of it and in good condition, so he did not require medical assistance.

The firefighters proceeded to extinguish it with sprayed water. The fire affected the wall of a house, loosening some slabs.
The Traffic Civil Guard also went to the scene.
