A small boat arrived this Monday afternoon at the Caleta de Famara dock with about thirty immigrants on board.
According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, the boat was being searched for in the northern part of the island and finally a notice was received that it was entering Famara.
On the boat, which carried a Spanish flag, 28 people of Maghreb origin have arrived, including four women and two minors. All are "in good" health, without fever and without symptoms compatible with Covid.
In addition to agents of the Civil Guard and the Local Police, several ambulances of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) have traveled to the area.
According to the occupants of the boat, they left the Moroccan city of Safi and had been on board for five days.
