Firefighters collaborated with the health services in the rescue of a 77-year-old woman who suffered a fall and could not move in her house in Arrecife. As reported by the Emergency Consortium, the incident occurred at approximately 2:53 p.m. this Tuesday on Jacinto Borges Street.
The paramedics first attended to the affected woman, who presented a possible hip injury, and placed her on a vacuum mattress. Subsequently, the firefighters decided to take her out through the window with the help of the aerial ladder.
Once outside, she was transferred to the ambulance and evacuated to the Molina Orosa hospital.
