A 76-year-old woman died at 08:01 this Friday after being run over on the Sardina del Norte road, near the La Verguilla bridge, in the Gran Canaria municipality of Gáldar, as reported by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes 112).
The staff of the sanitized ambulance of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) confirmed at the scene of the accident that the victim suffered a serious head trauma and was unconscious, so they began advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers until the arrival of the medicalized ambulance and the medical personnel of the health center who confirmed that she had died due to the severity of the injuries suffered.
