A man of about 60 years old has died this Thursday drowned in the marina of the capital of Lanzarote. The event took place around 5:00 p.m. At that time, an alert was received at the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 from a fishing boat reporting that they had rescued a man from the water in an unconscious state and that he was being transferred to land.
Upon arrival, the medical team of the SUC medicalized ambulance assessed the affected person and could only confirm that he was deceased.
The police services have been in charge of instructing the corresponding procedures.
