A 50-year-old woman was moderately injured after being hit by a cyclist on the Camino El Berrugo in Yaiza. The accident occurred at approximately 11:45 p.m. this Wednesday.

After being alerted by the Cecoes, local police officers and a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service were dispatched to the scene.

The healthcare personnel assisted the affected woman who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented moderate multiple contusions, barring complications. Once stabilized, she was transferred by basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.

The Local Police carried out the corresponding report.
