The Tías City Council has organized, as every year, the route of the pilgrims that is made from the municipality towards the church of Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, patron saint of Lanzarote, which this year will take place this Saturday, September 9.
One of the pilgrim committees of the municipality will depart, starting at 09:00 hours, from the vicinity of the 'Plaza del Varadero' and the 'Concepción Rodríguez Artiles' school, Puerto del Carmen, in the direction of Tías.
The pilgrimage will pass through the 'Camino de Hoya Limpia' towards Conil until the hermitage of Tegoyo, where the pilgrims who left from Mácher and La Asomada will join, around 12:00 hours. It will continue towards the center road to join the pilgrims of Masdache on the road that leads to Mancha Blanca.
The pilgrims will continue walking towards the entrance of Tinguatón until they reach the Chinero area, where a stop will be made to rest, scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
Later, the road to Mancha Blanca will be undertaken to join the island Pilgrimage, where it is expected to arrive at 6:00 p.m.
Return by bus
The Tías City Council offers a bus service back at 11:00 p.m., 1:00 a.m. and, the last one, at 4:00 a.m.
This service will be provided from the Mancha Blanca car parks to the different towns of the municipality. The buses will have a sign on the windshield with the distinction "Tías City Council".
