The Torrelavega Society of Culture, Recreation and Sports welcomed Christmas with the inauguration of its Nativity Scene. Once again, the artistic team pleasantly surprised the large audience that gathered to enjoy a very laborious work, which did not lack the slightest detail, achieving a very successful recreation of one of the central attractions of Christmas, such as the Nativity Scene.
The night also featured the magnificent performance of the Coros y Danzas de Arrecife Folk Group. A true Christmas reference in the Torrelavega Society, offering a concert based entirely on Christmas carols with Canarian roots, some with original lyrics and music from the Group itself. In addition, they added the traditional Christmas carols such as Silent Night, Lo Divino, Venid Pastorcillos or Christmas, among others.
On such a special night, where the magic of Christmas was present, Coros y Danzas Arrecife conquered the audience with their Christmas carols, who were humming the songs, while very animatedly asking them to continue singing. Toñin Ramos, president of the Torrelavega Society, on behalf of the board of directors he chairs, congratulated all those present, wishing them the best in these endearing holidays and that the coming year 2025 will be a good year for all.
