The Timple House-Museum hosted on Thursday afternoon the second of the concerts framed within the new program called "Concert from the House". This time it featured the timple player, Toñín Corujo, who was accompanied on keyboards, percussion and voice by the young musician, Israel Curbelo. The capacity, much more limited due to covid, was full with an audience dedicated to applauding each of the compositions that Toñín and Israel were performing.

Toñín offered some of the songs he has recorded on the seven albums already released. The concert began with the composition María dedicated to his partner and recorded on his first album. Other songs also sounded like Expoma, Famara, Palabras para María which were interspersed with other compositions by Israel Curbelo such as Lanzarote or No es el Final. In this last composition Israel was accompanied only with the keyboard and also put the voice, interpretation that was highly applauded by the public.

The duo Toñín Israel said goodbye with the song "El Almacén", inspired by the cultural center created by César Manrique and where Toñín gave free rein, letting his imagination fly, remembering what the carnival nights were like in Manrique's time. At the end, the public with their applause and standing asked them to continue to which they responded by performing a song by the great Canarian composer, Sindo Saavedra with carnival overtones.

The Councilor for Culture of the Teguise City Council present at the concert and the Commissioner of the House-Museum, Benito Cabrera congratulated the musicians for the interpretive quality, dedication and professionalism.
