The Arrecife neighborhood of Las Salinas began its festivities this Sunday, announced through its streets to the rhythm of the Chimbay batucada and proclaimed by Carmen Cascajo and Isidra Bolaños, Dama and Lady Las Salinas of the past year. A proclamation that was attended by the mayor, Yonathan de León, and the deputy mayor and councilor of Festivities, Echedey Eugenio, in which both evoked their experiences in the neighborhood.
The start of the festivities, which have the neighborhood's sports courts as their epicenter, included the election gala of the Dama Las Salinas of this year, a title that fell to Bibiana Delgado. Directed by Carlos Alonso and presented by Fran Vega, the entertaining contest was followed by a large audience and included the performance of singers Inma Sepúlveda and Gloria Sepúlveda.
The lighting of the San Juan bonfire will continue these festivities, which will bring one of the most outstanding events of the program tomorrow, Tuesday the 24th, such as the performance of the renowned Gran Canaria comedian Omayra Cazorla.
