The artist Ale Acosta (Lanzarote, 1980) has been awarded the prize for Best Electronic Music Song by the Spanish Music Academy Awards presented on the night of this past Tuesday.

Acosta, a musician and music producer, has been awarded for the remix of the song PAEQB, a musical mix of Baiuca's song.

The Spanish Music Academy has celebrated the third edition of its annual awards. In total, the awards have been distributed in 43 varied categories, from pop, through rock, urban music, flamenco, classical music, and live performances.

The previous year, Ale Acosta had already received four nominations in the second edition of the Music Academy Awards.

The Lanzarote native has also been nominated three times for the most important awards in the Spanish music industry, the Latin Grammys, awarded by the Latin Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences.

Rosalía and Leiva, among the most awarded of the night

The big winner of the night was the Catalan artist Rosalía Vila Tobella, known as Rosalía, who was awarded the most important trophies of the night.

The Spanish artist received the award for best artist of the year, also for best album of the year for Lux (2025), as well as best song of the year and composer of the year, both for La Perla with Yahritza y su esencia. The award for best producer of the year and best pop album also went to the artist.

The Madrid artist Leiva, who will visit Lanzarote this summer, has also received three awards at these awards for best pop/rock song Caída libre with Robe Iniesta; the award for best soundtrack song for Hasta que me quede sin voz, also by Leiva; and best tour for his Gigante tour.
