The Casa-Museo del Timple in Teguise put the finishing touch to its annual program on Sunday morning at the Santo Domingo convent with the already highly anticipated show 'Menudos Timplistas", which has become an obligatory event where you can contemplate the progress of the new generations of performers.
In this edition, a total of 23 students/as belonging to four music schools directed by professors Manuel Gopar and Toñin Corujo from Arrecife, Gabriel de Cubas from Tinajo, José Vicente Pérez from Tías and Yone Rodríguez from Gran Canaria participated.
The attending public was able to enjoy a wide musical repertoire of compositions with Canarian roots and others of different genres of national and international music, which were highly applauded in each of their interventions.
The Councilor for Culture of the Teguise City Council, Nori Machín, addressed the students and teachers, thanking them for their participation in the event and congratulating them for the show they offered, setting the bar very high. The act ended with the traditional family photo for the memory.
At the beginning of the new year 2020, the Casa-Museo del Timple will present the new program which, as the commissioner of the same, Benito Cabrera, advanced, will come with many novelties.
