The Los Campesinos Folk Group presented their show "Christmas in the Port" last Thursday night in Plaza de Las Palmas, next to the Church of San Ginés.
The act, which was within the "Arrecife Breathes Christmas" program, organized by the Arrecife City Council, included the traditional songs and dances performed by the group, such as "aires de zaranda", "folías", "seguidillas", "isas" or "malagueñas".
In addition, they were intertwined with the singing of popular Christmas carols, such as "Come, little shepherds", "A child is born", "Lo divino" or "The Three Wise Men", among other Christmas songs.

The performance was surrounded by applause from the public that attended the Plaza de Las Palmas. The parish priest of San Ginés, Juan Carlos Medina, also attended the event, as well as institutional representatives such as the mayor of Arrecife, Ástrid Pérez, or the Councilor for Festivities, Encarna Páez, as well as other members of the municipal corporation.
