Last Thursday, April 27, the "LGBT Reading Talks", organized by the historian Pedro Miguel Cabrera Vizcaíno in collaboration with the cultural and activity program of the Tías City Council in its municipal libraries, concluded successfully.

These talks had as their main objective to generate "a safe and community space" that promotes "critical thinking" and "active debate around sexual and gender diversity", Vizcaíno makes clear.

 The conference cycle began on Thursday, April 13 with the intervention of the writer Ismael Lozano, who reviewed his bibliography, highlighting publications such as "Vagos y Maleantes" and "Pasaje Begoña", published by Siete Islas, among others.

The second day, Thursday, April 20, featured the participation of the artist and anthropologist Damián Rodríguez, who gave a presentation on the importance of cultural elements in the search for references and references for the LGBT community.

Finally, on the third and last day, held on Thursday, April 27, Cabrera Vizcaíno organized a reading and thought meeting, focusing on the work of the psychologist and writer Gabriel José Martín.
